1. The program

Each A13 Academy program has its own disciplines, dates, daily times, age range and eligibility, as published on that program’s page. Those published details apply to the program you register in and form part of these terms.

2. Eligibility & registration

A participant under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, or with that parent’s or guardian’s explicit consent on the registration form; adults register themselves. Participants must meet the eligibility published for their program (age range and any gender restriction) at its start date. You agree to provide accurate, complete information; registration may be refused or cancelled if information is inaccurate or eligibility is not met.

3. Fees & payment

The fee is the one shown for your program at the time of registration — either a per-participant fee (with any additional-participant discount stated there) or a fixed entry option you select. Payment is processed securely by SADAD in Qatari Riyal (QAR). A place is confirmed only once payment is completed.

4. Cancellation & refunds

To request a cancellation or refund, contact the academy at info@athlete13.org. Please contact us as early as possible; refunds are calculated from the date we receive your written request relative to the program start date published for your program.

• 14 or more days before the start date: full refund, less a 5% administrative fee that covers non-recoverable payment-processing costs.
• 7 to 13 days before the start date: 50% of the fee is refunded.
• Fewer than 7 days before the start date, or on/after the program has begun: no refund, as the place, equipment, and staffing have already been committed.
• Documented medical reasons that prevent participation: a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the program may be granted at the academy’s discretion on presentation of a medical certificate.
• If the academy cancels the program or a session for reasons within its control, you receive a full refund for the affected part with no administrative fee.
• Approved refunds are returned through SADAD to the original payment card, normally within 14 business days. Where a sibling discount was applied, refunds are recalculated based on the participants who remain enrolled.

5. Health, safety & liability

You confirm the participant is medically fit to participate and that the medical information provided is accurate. You authorize the academy to seek appropriate medical assistance in an emergency. You accept the liability waiver presented at registration. The academy takes reasonable care for participants’ safety but is not liable for matters outside its reasonable control.

6. Conduct

Participants are expected to follow coaches’ and staff instructions and behave respectfully. The academy may suspend or remove a participant where necessary for safety or conduct, in line with its policies.

7. Photography & media

Photography/filming consent is optional and is requested separately at registration. If you decline, the participant will not be deliberately photographed or filmed for promotional use.

8. Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Qatar’s Law No. (13) of 2016 (PDPPL). Please review the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of its competent courts.
